Antivirus Solutions for Linux Mail Servers
Calibre Technologies, a Development Partner of Command Antivirus has teamed up with Command Antivirus to Bring Antivirus Solutions based on F-Prot Professional® engine for Linux based email Server (Send Mail).
CxProtect prevents viruses being received or sent through emails. It has reporting system for Sender,Recipient and Administrator if any virus found in the mail. It also maintains emails log which will help administrator to keep track of mails and viruses.
If a local user attempts to send an “infected-mail” the mail is blocked and the sender is notified about the exact nature of the infection and a complete report of the scanning.

Pre-installation Customisation
This offers the option of configuring the various
preferences before installation is done. The administrators can now maintain a
uniformity of deployment across the network / enterprise.

CxProtect is Binary based system
which makes scanning process fast and independent compared to other script
based systems.
Logs
CxProtect keeps log for every emails passed through it. Viewing Scan
Results Statistics for all the infected mails detected are available to the
administrator.
Automatic Updates
CxProtect verifies that it has the most recent update
from the Command’s web servers and downloads the Command AntiVirus™ definition
files automatically if needed at every 15 minues. The mail
server upgrades its Command AntiVirus™ scanning engine also whenever required.
The entire process of verifying the need for updates requires only a few bytes
of communication. Automatic update makes your corporate system virtually virus
free regardless of any new viruses.
Updating across the enterprise If an enterprise is using multiple Mail Servers the updates and upgrades may be automatically relayed. This avoids the need to update / upgrade each of the mail servers independently from the Internet, saving precious bandwidth.
